This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krykliy. To start WIM systems functioning the Parliament must pass two bills No3742 and No3743in the second reading. The bills will help to overcome certain nuances and shortcomings that hinder the full functioning of such systems. They will enable to eliminate human interference in the system’s operation. Today 37 weighing stations are already connected to the data center of dimensional and weight control of Ukrtransbezpeka. Data on control violations are already coming to the department. After relevant bills approval, the Ministry of Infrastructure plans to connect not only existing WIM systems but also other stationary dimensional and weight control systems. About 100 WIM-systems more will be created by the end of the year. Last August, the Ministry of Infrastructure started preparing an order to establish processing systems in the ports.
