A Series of Green-Economy Workshops11.07.2024
Working with the European-Ukrainian Hub, BIP delivered 17 workshops as part of its Green Economy course for Ukrainians, Danes and participants from other European countries.
The programme covered the European Green Deal and its implications for Ukrainian businesses; turning waste into new products; Denmark’s approach to product recycling; ways for Ukrainians living in Denmark to launch business initiatives back home; and CopenHill, the Copenhagen waste-to-energy facility, as a case study in energy recovery.
Other sessions examined government support for green and sustainable businesses, Too Good To Go as a practical response to food waste, and environmental management and certification systems.
