Ukrzaliznytsia reports over 7 billion hryvnias in losses for the first nine months of 202506.11.2025
The company has now completely exhausted its financial reserves after losing nearly 50% of its freight traffic compared to 2024.
As of today, Ukrzaliznytsia requires 16 billion hryvnias in support from the state budget — that’s taxpayer money — to cover its losses.
