“Virgin Hyperloop”, owned by American entrepreneur Richard Branson, plans to engage in commercial transportation since 2027. Initially, a new mode of transport will be launched in India, and then in Saudi Arabia.

“Hyperloop” is a vacuum rolling stock that carries passengers on magnetic cushion capsules. One such capsule can carry up to 28 people.

Modern prototype capsules can accelerate to 1000 km/h, as was the case during the “Hyperloop” testing in South Korea in November 2020. Then the results were recorded by the representatives of the Korean Research Institute. The previous speed, also recorded in South Korea during the tests, reached 714 km/h. With the launch of Hyperloop in the future, the Korean government plans to reduce travel time from Seoul to Busan from 3 hours to 30 minutes.
