The Bureau of Investment Programs, led by the managing partner Oleksandr Bondarenko, is actively participating in the two-day international conference on the recovery of Ukraine (Ukraine Recovery Conference – URC2024) in Berlin.

Leaders of governments from several countries, international organizations, businesses, and civil society, as well as well-known people from Germany and Ukraine, gathered at the conference. The main issue is the reconstruction and restoration of our country.

During the conference, Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, made a significant announcement. By June 30, 1.9 billion euros of financial aid will be provided under the Ukraine Facility. This substantial assistance will boost the state budget. In addition, Ukraine will receive an extra $1.5 billion in July, the first installment from frozen Russian assets. These funds will be allocated for the army and reconstruction projects, as stated by Oleksandr Bondarenko.

In addition, additional Patriot systems will be transferred to Ukraine (we need at least 7 systems), as will IRIS-T installations. Olaf Scholz said this today from the stage of the forum in Berlin at the international conference on the restoration of Ukraine—URC2024. As noted by the managing partner of the Bureau of Investment Programs, such news is positive for the country's economy.

There are many events ahead of the conference, which was also attended by private investors interested in the Ukrainian market. So, the Bureau team is working on attracting foreign investments.
