The real state of water supply networks in Ukraine causes concern26.03.2021Let’s consider the figures for 2019.
The total length of Ukrainian water supply networks is 120,321 km.
46,061 km of the country's pipelines (i.e. 38.3%) are in a critical condition.
The situation is being remedied at extremely slow pace. Thus, only 1, 005 km were replaced during the year, which constitute 2.3% of emergency networks.

Most of the pipes being subject to replacement are located in Donetsk (61.6%) and Luhansk  (61.1%) regions.   Unfortunately, only 1.2% of the required amount (192 km) were  replaced  during the year.
