The company expects the Ukrainian authorities to allow road construction at the legislative level. Vyacheslav Klimov believes that Nova Poshta will be able to build roads of better quality than Ukravtodor’s contractors. The company representatives have already marked on the map the places where the highways are to be built or repaired.
Mr. Klimov also pointed out in his that when the state outsources road construction to private companies, it only benefits. The co-founder of Nova Poshta cited the Italian textile company Benetton as an example. Most Italian highways have been successfully built by this company, although its baseline activity profile is clothing manufacturing and sales.
