A round table discussion on the results of the International Conference on the Recovery of Ukraine (Ukraine Recovery Conference—URC2024) will be broadcast on the "Ukrainian Pravda" YouTube channel on June 15 at 1:30 p.m.

Our esteemed participants, representatives of the Chuguyiv community, are currently undergoing a training program from the Bureau of Investment Programs. This initiative is supported by the Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine (PFRU), funded by aid from the governments of Canada, Estonia, Finland, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The meeting will be moderated by the deputy editor-in-chief of "Ukrainian Pravda" Yevhen Buderatskyi.

Discussion participants:

  • Svitlana Bytsenko, owner of the lavender farm "Lavandochka," Sumy;
  • Oleksandr Dmytrenko, deputy of the NGO Business Association "4Business", Sumy;
  • Pavlo Kuzmenko, mayor of Okhtyrka;
  • Galina Minayeva, mayor of Chuguyiv OTG;
  • Taras Savchenko, first deputy head of the Sumy OVA;
  • Iryna Tushnytska is the director of the "Recovery" project of the Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine (PFRU).

The participants of the round table represent de-occupied and front-line communities. Their participation in the International Conference on Reconstruction of Ukraine (URC2024) emphasizes the importance and relevance of the discussed issues.

Iryna Tushnytska, director of the "Recovery" project of the Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine (PFRU), noted that communities presented priority infrastructure projects to foreign investors.

Ms. Iryna, the director of the 'Recovery' project of the Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine (PFRU), shared that the fund is actively investing in risky infrastructure projects, even in the most affected regions. This includes the Lyman community, which faces daily difficulties, and Vovchansk. The PFRU's development partners also contribute to the funding of some communities, and the PFRU invests in their development as much as possible under the current conditions.

URC2024 continues the series of annual high-level events dedicated to the rapid recovery and long-term reconstruction of Ukraine that have been held since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

URC2024 aims to consolidate international support for Ukraine's sustainable recovery and modernization. This includes emergency assistance for urgent needs, the implementation of rapid recovery projects, the creation of favorable conditions for business and investment, and the active participation of civil society in the reconstruction process.
