By the end of 2025, the euro exchange rate could reach 51.5 UAH/€20.06.2025
Currently, according to data from the National Bank, the euro is already trading at 48.20 UAH/€.
“As forecasted by the Bureau of Investment Programs, devaluation pressures on the hryvnia are expected to intensify in the second half of the year.
The main reasons are the negative trade balance and hidden monetary emission via domestic government bonds, without a corresponding increase in production.
Therefore, our forecast is that by year-end, the exchange rate could reach 51.5,” noted Oleksandr Bondarenko, Managing Partner of BIP and Co-founder of the Institute of State Efficiency.
